Contestants' Bios

Les Adventures
  (band)
Les Adventures have already trekked some rocky terrain and they’re only in high school! After several changes to the band’s line-up, the current four members say they’ve built a tight-knit bond that will never be broken (or at least until they go away to college). They’re 4 young women who are here to stay and ready to kick some boy-band bootie.
Lactate Intolerant
  (band)
Lactate Intolerant not Schmactate Inshmolerant are ready to take over your minds. Eat a Steggasaurus burger and enjoy this LOUD band.
Yes Means No
  (band)
One morning they woke up and said 'Screw modern days... let people breathe... strapped their guitars... and began what today is a band that bleeds for the simple melody to help restart their dragging days
Parchment Farm

Rafael Lopez
  (poet)
Rafael Lopez always liked poetry, trying it every now and then until he got a chance to take a class with Joe Hernandez-Kolski through the Virginia Avenue Project and he’s been writing ever since. When he’s not writing poetry, he’s out BMX’ing and ripping the skate parks. Currently, he’s trying to get a skateboard company off the ground but classes are getting in the way.
Kristina von Hoffmann  (poet) Kristina may be the only underground hip-hop listening, politicizing, cheerleading slam poet you meet in your lifetime. She also has one brown eye and one green.
